IT Security Analyst

Team Description:Join the Information Technology (IT) team at ALINA, a crucial unit ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our technology infrastructure. Our team supports ALINA's pioneering work in Quantum Magnetoencephalography (QMEG) and neurotechnology by safeguarding sensitive data and systems. As an IT Security Analyst, you will play a vital role in protecting our digital assets from internal and external threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and evaluate ALINA's IT infrastructure to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
Implement and manage security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Develop and maintain the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and raise awareness about security protocols.
Coordinate with different departments to integrate security practices into their operations.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and countermeasures.
Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches, providing detailed reports and recommendations for preventing future occurrences.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security or a related role.
Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and experience with cybersecurity tools.
Familiarity with network infrastructure and database systems.
Ability to analyze and interpret security logs and monitor data.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
Experience in the healthcare or technology industry, particularly in environments dealing with sensitive data.
Skills in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Pay Range:

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $95,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. ALINA offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.
