Quantum Computing Engineer

Team Description:Become an integral part of ALINA's Quantum Computing team, a group of highly skilled professionals dedicated to revolutionizing neuroscience through advanced computational technologies. Our team focuses on developing and optimizing quantum algorithms to enhance data analysis, particularly for the interpretation of neural data obtained from Quantum Magnetoencephalography (QMEG). You will collaborate with experts in neuroscience, AI, and quantum physics to push the boundaries of what is possible in brain imaging and cognitive understanding.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement quantum algorithms for the analysis of complex neural data sets.
Collaborate with neuroscience researchers to understand data requirements and adapt quantum computing solutions accordingly.
Conduct simulations and tests to validate and optimize quantum algorithms.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in quantum computing and apply innovative approaches to ongoing projects.
Collaborate with AI specialists to integrate quantum computing algorithms with machine learning models.
Document and report on algorithm development processes and results.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

Key Qualifications:

Master’s or Ph.D. in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in quantum algorithm development and quantum computing platforms.
Strong foundation in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational theories.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in quantum computing, such as Qiskit or Cirq.
Ability to translate complex computational problems into quantum computing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a multidisciplinary team, particularly in collaboration with neuroscience researchers.
Knowledge of neural data sets and experience in neuroimaging technologies.
Proven track record of innovative problem-solving and published work in quantum computing.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-experts.

Pay Range:

The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. ALINA offers an attractive benefits package, including comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, and incentives for breakthrough innovations.
